Make sure your next property purchase stands up to scrutiny. At Benefit Pest Management in Lake Macquarie, we offer a complete inspection service on the NSW Central Coast and surrounding areas so you can make an informed decision before buying.
We’re one of the few pest management companies in the area to offer thermal imaging so we can get behind the paint and plaster to see what’s really underneath.
Once you have purchased, we recommend an annual
residential inspection as the best way for homeowners,
landlords and tenants to be assured that a property is perfectly pest free. Ready to arrange an inspection? Contact us today! We service properties in Lake Macquarie,
Gosford,
Tuggerah,
Maitland,
Cessnock,

Help us to help you get rid of pests quickly and efficiently. These tips will also protect you, your family and pets.
Spiders
Do not remove spider webs. We need to see where they are for successful treatment. Friendly four-legged pets can stay during treatment but do let us know if you have birds or aquatic species such as fish. Pregnant occupants, children under the age of four, or people with health issues should wait four hours before returning to the property.
Termites
The first and only rule is to leave termites alone.
German Cockroaches
Using insect spray is a waste of time and money. All you need to do is give us a call and we’ll take care of the rest.
Fleas
We encourage landlords and tenants to cut the grass around the property within one or two days prior to our visit. Do let us know the location of any pet fish and birds before we begin treatment.
Ants
Don’t use any spray on them, let us get rid of ants for good.
Rats & Mice
Tenants and homeowners need to watch their pets following rat and mice treatment. If you believe your pet has consumed rodent poisoning then a vet will need to administer an injection of Vitamin K.
Bed Bugs
Leave all items in place and do not remove anything in case the bed bugs spread. Write down areas they have seen them active and put all clothes in black garbage bags. Occupants will need to find somewhere else to stay for 5-7 days.
Bees
We ask that a beekeeper is contacted in the first instance to remove the hive if possible before we attend for any treatment.
